London-based European HealthTech & MedTech M&A
Operators first. Bankers second.
Nelson Advisors is a specialist M&A and strategic advisory firm connecting European healthcare technology businesses with buyers, investors and partners across Europe and North America.
Founded by entrepreneurs who have built and exited HealthTech companies, we combine firsthand operating experience with institutional transaction expertise.
//About Nelson
We know the business behind the deal.
Successful HealthTech transactions require more than financial analysis. They require an understanding of the technology, the customers, the market and the people who have built the business.
We bring that perspective to every engagement. We work with founders, boards, shareholders and acquirers to identify the right strategic path, connect with the right counterparties and execute with conviction.

North America
European businesses → International buyers and capital
For European founders and shareholders, we provide access to a wider universe of potential acquirers, partners and investors.
North American acquirers → European assets and opportunities
For US and Canadian corporates, private equity firms and investors, we help identify, evaluate and execute acquisitions and strategic partnerships across Europe.
// Growth & Partnerships
The right next step is not always a sale.
For some businesses, the greatest opportunity lies in entering a new market. For others, it is a strategic partnership, an acquisition or a change in commercial direction.
We help founders, management teams and boards understand their options, choose a course of action and turn strategy into execution.

//Operator Heritage
We’ve lived the decisions we advise on.
Our founding partners have built, funded, scaled and exited four HealthTech businesses across patient engagement, medical device cybersecurity, metabolic health and consumer healthcare.
We understand the realities of building a business, raising capital, managing shareholders and negotiating an exit because we have experienced them ourselves. That perspective informs everything we do, from how we position a business for sale to how we evaluate a prospective acquisition.

Paul and Lloyd worked very closely with myself and my CFO to deliver the sale of my business to a Private Equity portfolio company. Knowing we had such capable and committed M&A advisors beside us gave me a great deal of confidence and reassurance.
“Nelson Advisors supported us with our sale to a leading Private Equity backed EPR company in Q1 2026. Lloyd and Paul’s industry knowledge and expertise is unrivalled.”
“They helped us source a range of potential acquisitions to complement our UK market entry and growth strategy.”
// Sector Expertise
One sector. Many business models.
Healthcare technology does not operate as a single market. A clinical AI platform, a medical device manufacturer and a digital therapeutics business face different commercial, regulatory and competitive realities. Understanding those differences matters when assessing value, identifying potential buyers and executing transactions.
Our exclusive focus on healthcare technology allows us to connect specialist knowledge with a broader view of industry consolidation and strategic opportunity.
// The Nelson Network
The right counterparties change the outcome.
Access matters. Relevance matters more.
We maintain relationships across the healthcare technology ecosystem, bringing together the businesses, investors and decision-makers whose strategic interests intersect. Whether identifying a buyer, evaluating an acquisition or establishing a commercial partnership, our focus is on finding the right fit and creating a credible path to execution.
